This website “maths-hub.webnode.in”  will carry the information about all the activities, events, seminar and workshops organized by the Maths Department. Apart from providing the information about the activities, an open forum is created to help the peer group from other streams. Since we all know that each student of first year is studying the foundations courses irrespective of their stream. Building Mathematical Ability is one of the foundation course in Maths. Thus the department  of mathematics along with its students  have taken this initiative to help them  in this unique manner. An open forum has been started where anyone can post their query or problem they face in the subject which will be answered by the  Maths Department. A student can not only obtained solutions to their problems with the help of peer group but they can also share the real life examples or any important information which may have been discussed in their respective classes. For  example , arhar dal is the most common dal which is cooked in Indian household and thus it is an real life example of mode, this piece of information may give an insight to a hindi student or a Sanskrit student  and make the subject  easy to understand. In this way students all across can join hands to have a better learning of the subject. We have also started a group by the name of FC_BMA , on which teachers of the department may post any important information like ppts, notes or any other useful information etc so that any student who is the member of the group can make best use of it.
